The Arachinth Trading League (aka the League of Spiders) is a cabal of brutal slave traders whose reach encompasses all shores of the Umbrageous Ocean and the East Russitian Sea, with outposts in the 833 Islands. Appearing in recent decades, they are supposedly ruled from Arachinth (Spider Island) by a dark sorcerer, though these reports are unconfirmed as no one has ever been able to attack Arachinth itself due to Umbrageous Ocean Leviathans which appear to be under the pirates' control.

In addition to bringing slave cargoes to the less reputable and poorer nations, they also take special orders from various warlords/dictators/renegade sorcerers and others in the market for slave labour.

The League of Spiders is the largest group of its type, large enough to fend off assaults from law enforcement organisations, resourceful enough to be able to escape notice when needed. Though other slave trading collectives exist, they essentially have a monopoly on the slave trade over the entire eastern hemisphere of Xothu.

Recently, suspicions have been aroused that there is much more to the Arachinth Trading League than first appears. It is entirely possible that their actions are merely a front for an even more sinister purpose than the horrendous violation of rights that their organisation revolves around.
