Overview
The native race of the Everswamp of Mar, the Swamp Ogres are not an intelligent race by any means. There are numerous jokes and quips in other societies that suggest that Swamp Ogres are "a mistake by the gods" or in fact a species that tricked the others into believing they are sapient. Their language is incomprehensible to all others, including the Great Ogres, who are ashamed to share their name.
Physically, the beasts are dark green in colour with little hair (it is usually black or brown) and have small, black eyes. They stand between 5'10" and 6'7" and usually have a vacant expression. They have four arms but only two seem to be used, the lower two always hanging limp by their side. No swamp ogre has ever been seen to use them.

You know how every culture on Earth has another one they joke about and say are thick (USA/Canada, England/Ireland, Australia/NZ, Sweden/Norway)? Well, the Swamp Ogres are essentially the race that fills this role for ALL the other races.
