Realm of the Living

The Realm of the Living is the most central of the planes and is where all the mortal life exists.

Supreme Lands of the Gods

The home plane of the gods, demigods and other supernatural beings. It is believed to surround the Realm of the Living.

Paradise of the Just

The final resting place of those the gods deem "worthy". It is believed to be below the Realm of the Living.

Profane Prison

The final resting place of those the gods deem "unworthy". It is believed to be above the Realm of the Living.

The Mire

Also called The Solid Dark. This is said to be the grounding from which the other planes were formed. It is below all other planes.

Other Planes?

Since the dawn of time, races have argued over the amount of planes and their locations. The five above feature in all of the central religions of the world and therefore are the ones agreed upon most. Over seven hundred other planes have been proposed by various religions, but none are so secure in their belief as the above five.

• The Void of Night: This plane is said to exist by the Night Orcs, and they have prayers referencing this void specifically. Some of their sorcerers study an art dubbed "Voidmancy" by outsiders, which draws power directly from the spaces between stars. A lesser application of this magic lies in the more commonly known Shadowmancy, which literally takes power from shadows cast by objects. Shadowmancy is not a complicated art.
• Heaviside Layer: The equivalent of the Paradise of the Just for the Jellicles. They do not have a "hell", or an opposite to this world. Jellicles that arrive here become angels.
