Moon bears are, as their name suggests, bears. They are large and pale gray, almost white, with thick fur. They are about the size of Earth's black bears. Their eyes are large and round.

Moon bears possess some insight into the future, which they use to avoid hunters and to catch food. They are often killed for their eyes, which are claimed by some to give the owner some psychic abilities.

They are also nocturnal.
