Kalhe Keybeard - The charismatic captain-hero of numerous Sea Dwarf tales.

Kutu - An Ogre Warrior during the Bloodstained Aeon. According to legend, he was the greatest warrior the race had ever known, killing a hundred Crusaders with a single swing of his axe, and feared even by the Greater Dragons. But he became disgusted with the violence and suffering he caused, and, in the middle of a fierce battle, simply lay down his weapons and walked away, not even flinching when a general of the Sun Lilithians cut off his left hand. He is said to have fled to the forests and mountains of Thass and fasted for fifty days, until, on the brink of death, Gug Tumbruk spoke to him, laying out the tenets of the Tumbruk Religion.

Garak Plaguerash, the Defiler - A Necromancer who caused a minor war in Thass, towards the turn of the previous millenium.

Queen Scaktha - A Rook, and erstwhile ally of Egutu. Fled back to the Rookery with the Crystal of Fate when Egutu was defeated by The Steel Horde of Eternity and their allies. Unlike many of her race, she spoke other languages and seemed to have human-like intelligence. Her stories have made others speculate the Rooks are degenerating as a species.
