Cort Moen was initially a Kyrosian stronghold on Orath in an attempt to reach out to the other populations living there. Notably the Lilithians and Dwarves. It was founded in 1290 A.S. shortly before the decline of Kyrosos. It was ruled by Kyrosos until the turn of the millenium when it declared it's independance, making it the last Kyrosian state to do so. A testament to how long the power of Kyrosos held sway.
