Cinder Hornet
A three-inch long red wasp with a formidable stinger, Cinder Hornets live deep within forests and try never to get in the way of people. However, it needs to lay its eggs in a dying fire so sometimes it strays into villages and cities to do so. After laying up to twenty eggs, they hatch after a few hours and the young fly off to the nearest forest.
Their sting is not fatal, but it will cause a tingling sensation in the arm for a few days. It some cases it may cause a person to faint. Lizardmen, dwarves and ogres are unaffected by the sting.
