Chaos of the Steel Battlefield

Chaos Weaving
History
Used by no less than fifty elite Nherru Chaos Weavers at one of the Battles for Nherru in the Bloodstained Aeon. The combined channelled ethereal chaos allowed the physical alteration of the battlefield itself into steel. Under the feet of the Soldiers of Nherru the ground transformed into a strange alloy of metal - bushes becoming barbed wires, what little trees there were becoming solid pillars of smooth metal. Some unlucky enemy soldiers that happened to get caught in a ditch or similar were converted directly into horrific metal statues with the wave of transformation moving across the field. The transformation of the field into metal allowed for greater uses of fireball spells and electrical spells became deadly. This particular battlefield was never used again after the battle in question, as its constant electrocution by the both sides' magic users has permanently made the ground deadly to the touch. Some magic theorists have proposed a number of theories about what would happen if the Incantation of the Forgotten Warrior were used on this area, but no-one seems ready to approach the idea.
Description
Apparently, the spell weaved chaos briefly into said battlefield and transformed roughly the entire field into metal alloys - allowing for more effective fireballs to be bounced across it, not getting stuck in foliage, and a single lightning spell to affect the entire field at once. This led to both armies having to time themselves at jumping over the electrical surge.
Needless to say, the spell was incredibly powerful, taking any flora and fauna that happened to be in the field at the time with it.
Casting Time
Unknown. We have little information on the actual magic itself at this time.
Spell Duration
Would appear to be permanent. The Electric Field, as it was called, remains solidly intact to this day, instantly killing anyone unlucky enough to step foot on it.
Area of Effect
One massive field.
Limitations
The magi of Nherru only cast this once, to the knowledge of modern historians, but it could have been cast again and again.
Casting Complexity
Incredibly complex. As said, it required at least fifty Chaos Weavers working together to cast. Lilith knows what sort of other requirements it had?
