Territory
The island of Planus is a mere 800,000Km² and can be found(albeit with great difficulty) in the “eye” of the churning oceans savagery. Because of the constant storms raging over the island the inhabitants live beneath the surface, in a city named ‘caelimur’.
People
The people of caelimur call themselves “caeliks” and are not of a single race. People of almost all sapient races exist there. Like the people of the outside world, caeliks can ALL use magic. The difference here is each caelik can use a particular piece of magic, be it as specific as a spell or as general as a schooling, without knowledge of the spell/schooling. Each piece is unique to each caelik.
Age
Caelimur is older than even its inhabitants know, no accurate recording of the beginning of Caelimur has yet been discovered. Caeliks prefer however to count their cities age since when all of Xothu was told of it. By that, caelimur is ~2550 years of age.
Government
The government control of Caelimur stems from a council made up of a representative from each housed species(excluding hybrids), which watch over the city and the outside world. Keeping an eye out for anyone who should belong in their city but is not.
Culture & Religion
Caeliks are understanding by nature and so the city thrives and shines with the cultural norms and religious beliefs of all creeds within it. It is even accepted for there to be children born of 2 species, e.g. dwarf & ork.
History
It is unknown exactly when Caelimur was founded, but since then and always, it has been responsible for a large 48% of disappearances from the outside world. After Xothu came into the knowledge of this, many countries began to despise the Caeliks, much to the caeliks confusion.
Contrary to popular belief, the citizens of the island of Planus never actually took part in any war before or since their announcement.
Population
The Caeliks has an extremely restricted population, never truly exceeding 2.5 million.
World-View
The inhabitants of Planus cannot seem to really understand why the outside world is so agreesive towards them. Aside from that they generally see the world in a much nicer light than many other civilizations.
